Mr. Colin Brown

Colin Brown is Vice President Administration and Facilities for Chubb’s insurance operations in Bermuda. He started his seafaring life as a marine engineer with Canadian Pacific Steamships Ltd and went on to pursue a 12-year career in the merchant navy holding senior watchkeeping positions. Mr. Brown returned to Bermuda in 1992 to take the lead role at Bermuda Electric Light Company as shift charge engineer responsible for the daily operations of Bermuda’s only power station. He joined Chubb (then known as ACE Bermuda) in 2000 with responsibility for operations and maintenance of the 250,000 square foot commercial building together with additional corporate properties across the Island. As a LEED Operations & Maintenance accredited professional he successfully achieved and maintains LEED Gold certification for the Chubb Building.
