Ralph Richardson, MSc., is co-owner of Winsome Tours & Consulting Limited and is currently consulting with the Bermuda College Foundation. Mr. Richardson retired in 2010 from ACE Foundation Bermuda as Executive Director, after 8.5 years of service.  Prior to that, he was Executive Director the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.  For six years he served as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Pilot of the tourist submersible Enterprise, a 100 ton vessel capable of carrying 40 passengers to depths below sixty meters.

Mr. Richardson has served on several non-profit and Bermuda Government Boards.  He remains a member of the Overseers of Sea Education Association in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. He is immediate past Chairman of the Bermuda Water Safety Council and served in 2013 as a member of the Bermuda Government National Security Review Committee. He is Past Commodore of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, a former Chairman of the Bermuda Ports Authority, past Chairman of the Marine Occupations Committee of the National Training Board. He served as Vice President of the Bermuda Zoological Society (BZS).

Mr. Richardson is the author of the Bermuda Boater, a local  piloting and navigation text book (now in its third edition), and taught marine piloting and navigation at the Warwick Community School and a Royal Yachting Association Course at Bermuda College.  He is two time winner of the celestial navigation trophy for Class ‘A’ yachts in the Marion to Bermuda Yacht Race and has 20,000 of open ocean sailing.  He served as Commodore of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club in 2008-2009.
