Robert W. Corell, PhD

Robert Corell is an Adjunct Professor, Department of Ocean Science, University of Miami; Professor, University of the Arctic (Norway); Principal at the Global Environment Technology Foundation; Co-Founder, International Sea Level Institute; Senior Fellow, Consortium for Ocean Leadership (US); Chair and Founder Global Science Associates and Co-Lead, Our Nation’s 21st Century Universities Activation Initiative. He is actively engaged in research concerned with the sciences of climate and global change research activities and the interface between science and public policy. He is an oceanographer and engineer having received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Case Western Reserve University and MIT. He was director of marine and ocean sciences and professor at the University of New Hampshire. He has been a visiting scientist at the Woods Hole Institution of Oceanography, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of Washington, and Case Western Reserve University.
