For Visiting BIOS

In order to enter Bermuda, nationals of the United States (US), Canada and the United Kingdom (UK) must possess a passport that is valid for a minimum of 45 days beyond the date of departure from Bermuda or expiry of work permit (as applicable) and return tickets.

Nationals of other countries who have the right to reside in the United States (Permanent Resident), Canada (Permanent Resident) or the United Kingdom (no limit on stay in the United Kingdom) must be in possession of proof of such status. In addition, in order to enter Bermuda, they must possess a passport that is valid for a minimum of 45 days beyond the date of departure from Bermuda or expiry of work permit (as applicable) and return tickets.

Multi Re-Entry Visas:

Given that Bermuda can only be reached by travelling through US, Canada or UK, nationals of other countries (who do not have the right to reside in the USA, Canada or UK), may require a Multi Re-Entry Visa (MRV) for USA, Canada or UK (as applicable depending on travel route). All nationals who require and have a valid MRV (Multi Re-Entry Visa for US, Canada or UK), can enter Bermuda without requiring any separate visa for Bermuda, or visa waiver, providing that the following conditions are met:

  • You must show the MRV on arrival in Bermuda and the MRV must be valid for a minimum of 45 days beyond the date of departure from Bermuda or expiry of work permit (as applicable)
  • Your passport must be valid for a minimum 45 days from the date of departure from Bermuda or expiry of work permit (as applicable)
  • You must have valid return tickets

Applications for multi re-entry visas can be made at the US Embassy/Consulate, the Canadian Embassy/Consulate or the British Embassy/British High Commission/British Consulate in the national‘s country. Travel agents will also have access to this information and will be able to assist with this process.
